Diamond W Driving School is certified by both ODOT and DMV and is designed to help train and develop student drivers.

 

To complete the Driver’s Education course, each student must complete a total of at least 30 hours of classroom learning, and have at least 12 hours of in-car lessons (6 hours behind-the-wheel, and 6 hours in observation). To “pass” this course the student must complete the classroom portion, final written test, and the final drive all with an 80% or higher for each portion. The entire course (both driving and classroom portions) will take 6 weeks to complete (summer classes may differ in length, ask for more details).

 

There will be a total of 5 Behind the wheel drives where I will coach the student. There will also be a drive final after the classroom portion of the course is completed.  Permits are required for each drive, please don’t forget them!

The cost for the entire course is $550.00. Registration is a 2-step process. First you will need to return the registration form, then a link to the CGCC webiste will be provided so that you can register your student driver through their system. All payments will be collected through the college. Due to the rising fuel prices, I have also had to offset the cost by adding a $50.00 fuel surcharge fee.
